Some really good news today…my dad is home from the hospital. He had bypass surgery. And after a lot of complications and a lot of stress on him and the family, he is now sharing his company here with us. It has been a really long month for him and we all are hoping that it is nothing but healing from here on out.

My dad lives about 30-40 minutes from me. So my daughters didn’t see him all of the time. It’s really nice to see them talk more about their Gido Jim and get to know him. For me too, its nice to spend some real quality time with him.

Speaking of quality time, I have a lot of it to spend with my daughters. We have been taking our dog, Cloey, or Cloey Bear (as the kids call her), for a walk together every day. Today me and my daughters had a wonderful game of freeze tag in the back yard! This weekend my husband and I are hoping to finish up some Christmas shopping and also have our time together. And for the weekends, its Christmas cheer time with friends and family!

Friday I finished my final order of the year! A beautiful red and white pettiskirt. I will be taking orders again starting January 1st.

I don’t know if I can actually go so many days without making something new….maybe I will have to get a head start with making products for the mommylicious trade show on March 4th. (If you want more information on the trade show look under my Events tab)

I am hoping to start the girls doll house this weekend, along with some Christmas baking. If I make something fabulous, I will share with all of you!
